Alumni Testimonials

My daughter, Maria, studied with Ms. Gayla at Renaissance Montessori for three years. In those short years, she blossomed with knowledge, confidence and respect. Today she is 9-years-old. Her favorite subjects are math and reading. She is an exceptional student who performs as a role model for her peers. Her Montessori foundation set her up for success in education and citizenship. She learning and is determined to make mindful and  choices. Her years at Renaissance taught her discipline and compassion, gave her a sense of focus and determination, and sculpted her for growth and achievement.

“Caelyn attended Renaissance Montessori Academy (RMA) from January 2002 to August 2003. She loved the school and her teachers, and she benefited greatly from the Montessori experience. RMA's focus on cognitive skills and early childhood literacy have continued to benefit Caelyn greatly throughout the educational process. She's now 11 and in seventh grade at Elizabeth Middle School (EMS) in Elizabeth, Colorado. Caelyn has done subject acceleration for math and language arts since she was in first grade, and she skipped sixth grade altogether. She currently takes a freshman-level algebra course and was recognized last year as the "top eight-grade math student" at EMS. She was also one of four finalists at this year's EMS geography bee.

While Caelyn possesses inherent academic abilities, I'm confident her RMA experience has been instrumental in her accelerated educational pursuits. I'm convinced the RMA experience would benefit all children.” - Gene (father)

“My name is Lisa. I am the School Nurse/ Nurse Consultant here at Renaissance Montessori Academy. I have worked here for 6 years and started out as a parent with both of my children attending Renaissance. My children enjoyed the curriculum and I thoroughly enjoyed the staff and believe in everything they have to offer both in their philosophy and their practice. It has been my pleasure to continue working with the staff and helping parents and children.”

When we decided to start our son at Renaissance Montessori, we knew it was special but didn't 'know how much of an impact it would have on our family. Four kids later, it was clearly on of the best decisions and investments we have ever made. My kids were not only taught basics but they also gained amazing life and reasoning skills. Every one of my kids started Kindergarten miles ahead of most of their classmates. They were confident, able to manage themselves in class, take direction and flourished in every way, socially, educationally and personally. While I may not understand every aspect of the Montessori program or what each "Work" teaches, I can attest to the fact that they do work. Renaissance Montessori isn't a daycare, its a fun, exciting, different learning environment. The teachers are unique, dedicated and really "know" what each child needs. Four kids, all very successful and confident, no coincidence, they all got their foundation at Renaissance Montessori.
